After months of waiting, our building permit has finally come through. It’s time to start construction!
On my birthday in March we decided to go look at modular housing, and now five months later we’re finally able to start work on our new house! We’re all so excited about it.
Four people and three puppies in under 900 sq feet is much, much too crowded. Luckily it won’t be that way for much longer, as they are expecting us to be in by the end of August. A brand new 1400 sq ft house, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, sun room and laundry room! It may not sound big to most, but for us it sounds perfect.
No more sharing a room with our daughter, no more fighting for the bathroom, no more tripping over each other in the kitchen! I can’t wait!

Wow the house sounds wonderful and big……..I am so excited for you ,Russ and the kids. Has the thought gone thru saying “Its about damn time” LoL So what did Ariana think of her time away from you and Russell? You have to admit it is wonderful for those first couple of hours….then from there you miss them and can’t wait to have them near by. I am feeling that so much for Alex it is killing me……..Thankfully Frank has been so wonderful and keeps reminding me that he is okay and will be okay………..Tell that one to a mother of almost years when day in and day out he is your responsibility………..LoL
Love you all and talk to you soon.
It’s not that big, but it’ll be a big improvement over this place! It is about damn time!
Ariana did good on her weekend away! She got a little cranky the morning they were due to leave, so I think she failed the “beach” test. (I don’t think my parents will be taking the kids to the beach.)
It’s so weird being home without any kids… It’s like something vital is missing. It’s hard to adjust to being alone… Something I’m definately not used to!
Alex will be Okay, he’s a wonderful young man! Our thoughts and prayers are with him!
Just had to tell you both what a wonderful time I had with you Sunday. I am so excited about the coming of your new home. I can hardly wait to see it. I especially enjoyeed seeing David and Arianna. Grnadkids come first you know.
Haley, you’re a good mother and wife and I’m proud to call you my daughter in law.
See you all soon,
Mom
We enjoyed seeing you too Jane! We’re excited about the new house too! This week they’re going to start the excavation work on the new lane and the house foundation. What a change that will be! We’re losing so many trees that the whole place is going to look so different!
Thank you Jane! I’m proud to call you my mother also!
