So close, yet so far away… We keep having one or two nice days that make us think spring is really on it’s way. But then we have another cold spell, like today, where it was so cold that the schools all delayed for two hours, and it’s just miserable.
I’m ready for spring! Although, I’m not really ready for the mud that goes with it, but Russ would beg to differ. He just decided the other night as we ran across carpet cleaners on sale that we need our own carpet scrubber instead of always borrowing my mom’s. I say what’s it matter – she’s never home to use it anyway. But he won and we are now the proud owners of a Bissell ProHeat something or other. It’s been sitting in my bathroom fully assembled and ready to go for more than two days now and it hasn’t been touched, as I haven’t had the time to think let alone clean the carpet… Eventually, I suppose!
