As most of my business contacts search for me by name, this is what should be my business blog instead of my family blog. So I’ve purchased a new domain name the-price-family.net and will soon be moving this site to that domain. It will probably take a few days for me to even start the procedure, but by the end of October the whole site should be moved and intact.
Family members – if you would like to set up your own family blogs at yournamehere.the-price-family.net I’ll be happy to help you get started (I of course will be doing all the behind the scenes work – while you publish the content.)
The idea for the new domain name and the switch from personal to professional on this site was brought about by my son (and my search engine reports), as he is always trying to create his own websites on other “create your own wiki or website” sites, so I offered to set him up with a real website.
So within the next month, expect some downtime, and some weird things to happen when you visit, but just keep in mind that it will be over soon and we’ll have a new home for our family site (to go along with the new home for us)!
