Ariana spent the night at Miss Hilly’s last night with Braden and MacKenzie, and it’s been such a quiet day here without her. Even David thinks the house seems almost eerily quiet without our little Bee buzzing about.

But I’m sure she had a good time with her cousins last night, and they were having a picnic at Neenie and Poppy’s house today, so they could swim with the girls, Syd and Lauryn.

The Newest Family Member

Last night our family added a new family member, a tiny newborn red eared slider (aquatic turtle) and Ariana couldn’t be happier! She aptly named him “greenie” and could hardly stand to put him back in his tank to go to library today.

Of course I had a hard time dragging Russ away from him last night at midnight for bed! He is a little cutie!

Let’s hope he does well in the over crowded Price household, and isn’t loved to death by the kids, (or eaten by the dogs).

It reads:

I had a great year in first grade. One of the things I learned was phonics and spelling. I also learned about math. My favorite parts of first grade were going to the weather station and phonics.

Mom, I loved you yesterday, I love you tomorrow and everyday.
You were there for me my first day of school, to hold my hand and give me courage to go.
You listened to me when I needed to talk, you talked to me when I needed to listen.
You let me grow and learn from my own mistakes.
You never left my side when I was feeling down, I knew you would be there to pick me up.
I wish there was a way I could repay all the things you have done for me, but there’s nothing great enough to repay the greatest mother of all.

Ariana had a ball playing around with David’s old recorder the other night, playing music for her WebKins, and she’s just dying to share it with everyone. She’d spend all of her time making videos if we’d let her, she loves being the center of attention!

This is my version of a squishy fairy tale.

The squishy frog is is in a tower in danger, and the dragon squishy is guarding the castle. The prince frog came and saved her with his sword, and his horse named Jim. Then the squishy frogs went off into the sunset!
